Members announced too early – Netherlands and France must change jurors

Each participating country has a national jury which consists of six persons. The same jury will vote in both, the semi-final and final and the members must be kept secret until the grand final on Saturday. This is to avoid bribery and other side effects which might affect the jurors’ voting behavior.

However, the Dutch commentator accidentally revealed the names of two jurors on Tuesday morning and therefore EBU demands the broadcaster to replace Cornald Maas and Eric van Tijn for the final. Cornald Maas is still allowed to announce the Dutch points in the final as originally planned.

In France it seems that the entire jury panel must be changed as the broadcaster revealed all the six members in a press release earlier this week. Official confirmation hasn’t been given yet.
