Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2014 is about to reach its climax when the representative for Finland is chosen. Eight acts have made it to the final after the previous weeks’ pre-qualification heats and semi-final. The winners of their own heats qualified straight to the final without having to compete in the semi-final.
If we take a look at the betting odds at Unibet, the heat one winner Softengine is having the lowest odds at the moment while another heat’s winner Hanna Sky is second to last. The highest odds and therefore the least predicted winner is an energetic girl group MIAU.
Although Softengine is having the lowest odds, competition between the following acts is tough; Clarissa feat. Josh and Lauri Mikkola have the same odds and Mikko Pohjola is right behind them.
Last year, the gamblers failed to predict the winner right as they expected Mikael Saari to take over all the others. Krista Siegfrids was third then.
UMK 2014 – Winner (Unibet, January 31st 16:00 CET)
Softengine – Something Better (2.25)
Clarissa feat. Josh – Top Of The World (3.50)

Hukka ja Mama – Selja (7.50)
