In September, the Russian broadcaster launched a pre-selection format called Kto? which should’ve taken place in late December. These plans were however cancelled and instead, the country’s representative has been chosen internally. Russia will be represented in Copenhagen by Tolmachevy Twins.
Born in 1997, the twins Anastasiya and Maria won the 2006 Junior Eurovision and in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, held in Moscow, they opened the first semi-final. Their Eurovision entry hasn’t been released yet.
