Switzerland, Finland start their 2015 search in fall

The Swiss and Finnish broadcasters have preliminary confirmed their participation in Eurovision 2015. Both will be using an open competition for songwriters and artists to enter.

Finland goes for Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK) for the fourth time. The submission period opens in August – the final is probably going to take place in early February as in the recent years.

The German speaking broadcaster of Switzerland (SRF) advises willing artists to start writing their songs for the race. The submission period opens in fall and the songs will be again uploaded on the broadcaster’s online Eurovision platform. The exact format and dates will be confirmed later on.
