Željko Joksimović to pen Montenegrin entry

Zeljko Joksimovic

Eurovision veteran Željko Joksimović will be writing the Montenegrin entry for Eurovision 2015, RTCG confirms. Joksimović was asked to write the song for Knez and he happily accepted the offer.

– It’s a great challenge to me and an offer I couldn’t refuse, he comments.

The song is said to be more uptempo and cheerful than what could be expected.

– It will be a nice surprise, Knez told.

In Vienna Montenegro is represented by Knez. Born in 1967, Knez’s solo career kicked off in early 1990s. He has already released eight studio albums with the latest one in 2012. Right now he lives in Belgrade, Serbia. Knez was chosen internally by RTCG.
