EMA was used to find out the Slovenian representative for Eurovision Song Contest. Eight acts were chosen by the broadcaster to compete in the show. The finalists of the night were:
- Alya & Neno Belan – Misunderstandings
- Tim Kores – Once too many times
- Jana Šušteršič – Glas srca
- I.C.E. – Vse mogoče
- Clemens – Mava to
- Maraaya – Here for you
- Rudi Bučar & Figoni – Šaltinka
- Martina Majerle – Alive
In the first round, the jurors voted for their favorites and the superfinalists were Maraaya and Rudi Bučar & Figoni. After that, the audience determined the eventual winner and that is Maraaya! Slovenia competes in the second half of the second semi-final in Vienna.
