Selection format

Serbia decided to make a comeback in Vienna after skipping the 2014 song contest. In October it was announced that Vladimir Graić would compose all songs for the national final. He is the man who was also composing the 2007 entry ‘Molitva’. The national final would see three artists competing with different songs. RTS organized auditions across the country and some 300 applied. Ten of them were accepted to perform in a special televised show in December where two finalists were chosen by a jury. These two were Danica Krstić and Goga Stanić. The last finalist was chosen internally and was later confirmed to be Aleksa Jelić.

The national final was competed on February 15th. After the audience and jury votes were combined, it was clear that Bojana Stamenov had won the final with ‘Ceo svet je moj’. The song was later translated into English for Eurovision.
