JOHN KARAYIANNIS – ONE THING I SHOULD HAVE DONE
Composer: Mike Connaris
Eurovision Song Project was used to select the entry for Cyprus in 2015. It contained of three phases; auditions, eurochallenges and a final. The jury decided the outcome of both the auditions and eurochallenges, and in the final both jury and public voting decided the final outcome. John Karayiannis won against the second place, Panagiotis Koufogiannis.
The Cypriot entrant has entered the world of Eurovision earlier, in fact, as early as back in 2008, when he participated in the national selection in Cyprus for Junior Eurovision Song Contest. When he heard Cyprus’ Eurovision entry back in 2004, he started dreaming about representing his country in the contest, and now he’s here! He currently studies music, and is now recording his very first album.
John will fulfill his dream of representing Cyprus in the second semifinal, on May 21st.
